Revisiting a space you contributed designing years ago is a rare experience ✨ .

Recently, I stepped back into this interior — a collaborative project I worked on early in my career.

At the time, we designed the interior architecture and key pieces-including the sculptural stone table that anchors the entrance - with a clear intention:
to create a space that wouldn’t be fixed to a single function, but could evolve over time — with the possibility of becoming an art gallery always in mind.
Today, the space has taken on a completely new life.
It has been transformed into an art gallery — filled with objects, people, and evolving narratives.
And yet, everything feels… natural.
The sculptural stone table is there, anchoring the entrance.
The architecture guides movement and creates moments of pause.
Years later, the project is no longer just what we created — it has become part of something ongoing.
It reminded me that thoughtful design is not fixed in time —
it adapts, absorbs new layers, and continues to hold meaning in different contexts.

And that, to me, is the most rewarding part of design.

I worked on this installation together with Studio J.Phine for the International Interior Design Exhibition in Brussels. At the centre of the project is a bespoke table I designed — the first concept that later evolved into a second version in marble, developed for ART(s) Gallery.

This project reflects an ongoing exploration of material expression, contemporary furniture and revisited architectural details, where each element is designed to contribute to a cohesive and timeless atmosphere.

A dialogue between art and contemporary design defines the space. Sculptural forms and refined materials come together to create an intentional composition.
